Twin Cities Apple Orchards

There are three categories of Apple Orchards that I will be visiting.

Apple Apple Orchards
These apple orchards solely exist for producing apples.  They do not have extra amenities other than a shed   used to purchase the apples you desire.

Pay As You Go Orchards
These apple orchards are a little bigger.  They may have a petting zoo or hayrides.  They may even have live music (usually on the weekends).  Getting into these orchards is free.  However, if you want to do anything there, you must carry a wad of cash.  You pay for the hay rides, you pay for the corn maze.  You pay  a separate fee for everything you decide to do.

All Inclusive Orchards
Finally, let me introduce you to the apple orchards that not only earn a profit on their produce, but they have the art of crowd pleasing perfected.  Usually you pay an entry fee to enjoy these orchards.  But once you are in, you are welcome to explore and participate in every activity they have.  (mostly)  Playgrounds, mazes, hay piles, petting zoos, hay/train rides, etc.

As I review the few I attend this fall, I will explain what kind of Orchard it is, I will give you hours of operation, highlights, and a link.  Let's have an Apple Fall together like we had an Ice Cream Summer!
