Now, let me show you how it looked after this weeks progress.
Oh, no, but only worse!
Let me show you the highlights
Isn't the box of wrapping paper in the foreground classy? I thought it was a nice touch myself.
Not be confused with the huge and ever growing pile of Chris stuff to go through (and ultimately throw away? PLEASE! I am begging!)
This week I did absolutely nothing.
Now we could blame it on sending Wordgirl to school and adjusting Princess Pea and Dash to a new schedule. We could suggest that JackJack just wasn't that cooperative.
But no, those would be lies. All lies, I tell you. Well, there might be some semblence of truth in those explanations, but mostly the word that comes to mind is excuses.
However, I will say that I enjoyed myself this week. The piles of laundry were continuously growing. Occassionally, I had to madly wash the dishes so we had something clean on which to eat. Oh, yeah, and I volunteered at Wordgirl's school.
During lunch time.
Need I say more?
So let me show you what my projects for this week will be.
I must remove all items, put them somewhere that is appropriate (i.e. not on the floor or stashed in a corner where we will forget about it), and scrub, scrub, scrub.
Then, I must make this into our linen closet.
Because we have none.
We have 2 closets in our entire house.
Don't get me started.
I really could go for a complete IKEA remodel of our house.
But alas, that is a dream that is not meant to be.
Once again, I digress.
So whoever thinks I can do this should raise your hand.
And then call me and tell me how to do it.
I must tell you first what is off camera.
What we are missing in this picture is the heater parts for a baseboard heater that Chris and my dad disassembled a year ago.
What, pray tell, am I to do with those parts?
I know those mustn't be thrown.
But where do they go?
And last but not least
I really ought to do something with the dresser that is sitting at the bottom of my steps.
Oh, and the dead horse on the floor.
